Nearly evening

As the days become shorter, the late afternoon now feels like early evening more and more. We had a pre-dinner walk along the pier down at the harbour. It's been a cloudy day, but none of the rain as forecast. I've enjoyed watching and hearing the geese. They continue to gather but do not seem in a hurry to leave.
