Yeah, I did

start wrapping Christmas presents today. Also now have better understanding  which ones I still need to get / do / invent.

I also changed the soil for the Orchids that I got.  They clearly needed a change. I was able to do it outside as the temperatures rose to 20°C!

Did some other yard work too. Cut down the tomato plants in the greenhouse which is always a huge job, but in addition did some minor things too.

Had the chimney sweeper here and everything was all right.

Did the doggy food preparations for the following 2 weeks. Buddha gets his kibbles from the store, which suite him very well, but the not dry options that suite him cost a lot. so I decided to start making home cooked for him in addition to the kibble. He's been eating the home cooked now for 1,5 weeks and he seems to have much more energy. Could be coincidence too. We'll see. I freeze it in two day portions, so it stays fresh for long.

Did some grocery shopping. Picked up a package. Bought a toy for one of the residents. Walked with  Buddha 3 times. All these little things....

Had a session with L and we were supposed to do Swedish, but instead he did an English essay about a poem from E.E. Cummings. The subject was mandatory, but he managed to do it quickly after some complaining :-D We still need to start with the Swedish...

I bought a new (used but refurbished) laptop for me to school. It needs to be Windows to be compatible with the school environment. I've been IOS user from 2008. Occasionally I use Windows at jobs. I'm not happy about this mandatory return to Windows. So I bought the laptop from the site that sells old business laptops. Got a very nice one for reasonable price. I think about 40% of what I paid for my Apple. Anyway... today my husband started it and the Windows is in SWEDISH!  Oh the irony. I've had my iPad to be on Spanish, and most of my equipment are speaking English, but Swedish.... Sorry all you Swedish speaking people. Nice language and all, but Windows in Swedish after so many IOS years, seems like a bit too much to handle.

And yes, we added English to the Windows, but it still has some things in Swedish, like when it greets me when I open it :-D

Bloody hell! What is that in proper Swedish?

By the way. I slept such a good night after a glass of red wine yesterday that I still have energy left. Days off really are the best.
