First autumn flood alert

With all the rain in the last two days it’s unsurprising that the ping of a flood alert reached my phone yesterday. I was a bit surprised to find the fields flooded this morning as it usually takes a couple of days to reach us, but I guess Milton Keynes must have had a deluge a few days ago. Anyway the swans and ducks seemed to enjoyed poking about in their new outdoor supermarket.
Thankfully the skies have lightened a bit now. It’s been too gloomy. I’m struggling a bit with the side effects of chemotherapy, it really is nasty, if necessary, stuff.
