Thinking Space

We are back home from our travels and Andy’s son who stayed with us for a few days has returned to Scotland. The garden is sodden and autumn feels to be well and truly arriving.

Today I travelled to Alice Holt Forest to meet up with a few work colleagues for a walk in the woods. I arrived early so had time for a cup of tea in the cafe over looking the trees. It was a cool and damp morning but peaceful with just the calls of small birds in the tree tops as my soundscape. It was useful to have this moment to reflect on the last three months and what comes next as we enter a period of darker, cooler days.
