Why do ambulance drivers always have a partner?

......they're pair-a-medics.

A long day at the hospital with Aunty K after her admission yesterday. It was just about inevitable given the paucity of drinking and eating she's been doing recently. She's out of the woods for now but this is going to be a long week of visits and discussions with medics and social workers, and people I've not even thought of yet.
