'Poor man's capers'

I've tried Nasturtium leaves and flowers in salads but now's the time to try the seeds.  They're quite sharp and peppery, so I'm going to pickle them and use them like capers.  Or perhaps not.  The name nasturtium apparently comes from the Latin 'nasus tortus' meaning twisted nose, referring to the effect on the nasal passages of eating the plants.
