Performing My Wifely Duties

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I do not think I have mentioned but we are currently Fazzyless. She had to go back to South Africa because her sister is unwell.

It has all been a shock for the Fazzy whānau. They've had no time to prepare and the children miss her a lot.  

And because Fazzy is away, she needed me to step in for her and to spend the night with Shahier. 

It's not what you think.

Zay was performing in a festival called Tawa Goes To Town, and so she thought it might cheer Zay up to see me there with his dad. 

I was happy to oblige, and as it turns out, it was really quite good! Much better than The Wedding Singer*! Four out of five! Would recommend!

The kids and teens put on a surprisingly professional show.

So it was a good evening. And Zay was indeed happy to see me there. As was Shahier. But not in "that" way. Not a date.
