Brian's Bits

False start?

Well a bit yes + a bit no.I knew they had different "Colour Temperatures" a relatively recent scrap of knowledge, set against a lifetime which began in a Gas-lit home with all cooking done on a Gas Cooker or the Coal Fire.
I've known/seen for many Moons that these two had different Temperature colours - BUT - what I forgot is they are from two different generations.
1. The right being the first of the Post filament generation. All it told me was how many mW it consumed. (Guessimetrically)
2. The left is an L E D Bulb both significantly smaller and much more informative than its neighbour. It told me it was 6W, 426 lm, (Lumens), 2700K (Colour Temperature)
B T W The room is not as gloomy as the photo looks but I didn't want the Bulb glare to steal the scene.
Can't be too bad if you're getting (MORE guessimetry) the light of 60-75W from a Bulb consuming a mere 6W and never getting too hot to remove by hand?
Also B T W there's a total of five Bulbs in the room so it's not at all gloomy.
