Rowan Tree Autumn Colours

Another misty start to the day. Vary damp outside. Cool on the pre lunch walk. Edinburgh Castle is a set of dark rectangular shapes against a very dull grey background. Quiet in the park and streets.

A slight recovery in the afternoon, in as much you can see for about a mile or so. At the north end of the park, the rowan trees have got a good mix of green, yellow and red leaves. Walking back, no view of the Pentland Hills. Cloud level is much lower than yesterday.
