Buttons everywhere!!

Isn't it amazing what you see when you're looking?

This afternoon we went to celebrate a birthday. The National Centre for Craft and Design very kindly invited everyone to join in with its 10th anniversary celebrations, so there was a free afternoon of fun and creativity for all ages that had been organised.

Activities taking place indoors and outside, with live music, dancing, workshops, drop-in sessions, badge-making and storytelling on the agenda for everyone who turns up to enjoy the birthday bash.

Aiden had fun making some butterflies with clay, they are drying at the moment, then she'll paint them (a blip for another day perhaps).

I was on the look out for buttons for today's challenge, and I kept on seeing more and more. The top photo is a jacket made from books, it's amazing and has caught my eye on a previous visit too.
