Stepping stones

We went to one of the big parks today to mainly test out the bike rack on the top of our car.

We have many beautiful green spaces and this is one we haven't visited since our younger son learnt to ride his bike there about 2 years ago!

There's a lovely wooded walk either side of a stream with little waterfalls here and there. We stopped along the way to watch the ducklings and teeny tiny moorhen chicks, before having an ice cream and a rest while the boys played in the park.

It was a cooler, overcast day and a great relief from the heatwave.

The bike rack did it's job brilliantly.
