Study Time

It's that time of year again. The man is starting his 5th year out of 6, of a part-time OU History degree. He needs the structure it gives his day.

When he worked, towards the end of that career, he worked from home. Upstairs, there is a whole, purpose built, office. There is a full-size desk, a printer, a fast wi-fi connection, filing cabinets, book case, the lot! Yet still, he prefers to sit at the kitchen table.

It's not work, he says. It would feel like a chore if he studied upstairs.
