Stumped

We originally had four miniature conifers in the back garden. The two in the right hand middle bed were removed some years ago and Chris started taking this one down at the weekend. It was encroaching on the steps and with a large petrol mower it was getting increasingly difficult to get past it up the steps to mow the top lawn.

I went out to hang some washing late morning and liked the more open look of the garden (obviously the stump, centre,  is to be removed yet.)
To the left of it is a large azalea which has not been too good for the last two years, maybe the removal of the tree will help it improve or maybe it has just has just run it’s course. Like wise to the right is a Magnolia Stellata which has flowered well for many years but not grown very much. It’s now looking quite sad so we will just have to see how they both fare next year or they will have to be replaced.

On the far left you can just see another conifer that will be going soon too.

Misty first thing I went ever Bingley moor to a Guiseley to collect something from Hobbeycraft  - (cheaper than Amazon and I could collect so therefore save postage)
Chris was going too to his hairdresser in the shed but he had to be there for 8.00am. I decided I would be hanging about too long if I went with him so we met in Costa for a coffee and croissant. We both then went to Hobbycraft for separate things then cane home separately!
The sun was just pushing through as I returned over the moor. Got my washing out and largely dry and Chris got his wood shredding done.
Not a bad day
