They were sitting on a bench...

... seemingly being watched by a sculpture at the local market. 

The sculpture is of a local character 'Blind Jack of Knaresborough' so they needn't worry about being watched! Despite losing his sight as a young child, amazingly he went on to be a road builder.

In my extra, someone brought quite a lot of colour into a dull day.
