Autumn Colours....

Beginning to show now on Exmoor. It was a miserable morning, quite chilly and wet. I had arranged to meet Rachel in Lynmouth as she is staying in Minehead for a few days. I remembered to pick up her birthday card, and put it in a plastic bag, it was forecast raining when I left home. It was lovely to see her and to meet the young handicapped man she cares for at the weekends. They had travelled over in the Tourist Bus, so could spend a few hours in Lynmouth  and Lynton, using the  cliff railway.

After an early lunch they caught the cliff railway carriage, and I headed back over the moor, with it raining on and off. there was a rainbow over Lynmouth when I got to the top of the hill but no where to pull in safely. But lovely to see. The weather gradually improved the nearer I got to Barnstaple. But there are clear signs of Autumn having arrived.

Must admit I did put the heating on this morning ;-))
