Little Grebe

When I left home this morning for a podiatry appointment the temperature was 6⁰, the sky was a brilliant blue and there wasn't a breath of wind.

Feet feeling like new I set off for a walk round the Heritage Park. Hardly a ripple on the water .... a perfect autumnal day.

I spotted a few Little Grebes ducking and diving at the narrower end of the loch so camera on full zoom I managed to get one or two pictures that were not just the Little Grebe's disappearing body.

By the time I was on my way home the temperature had reached a balmy 13⁰.
