If only I could think of a witty caption...

I went to see the Antony Gormley 'Time Horizon' installation at Houghton Hall today.  There are 100 life-size human male statues set within 300 acres of the park and gardens.  They are all installed at the same height to create a single horizontal plane, the one that is in the hall of the house sets the height for all of them throughout the grounds.  I've added extras of one of the lowest and one of the tallest installations that I came across.

I found wandering amongst them to be a slightly unsettling experience as I often felt that I was being watched by these fascinating statues.  What I found particularly interesting was how visitors were interacting with them.  I've absolutely no idea what these two ladies were doing!  I've added some additional extras,  a photo of a couple who spent absolutely ages taking photos of each other posing with one particular figure. I've also added a wide angle shot of the figures in the landscape.

It was a most interesting few hours which I thoroughly enjoyed despite the rather gloomy weather.
