Autumn day in Akureyri

After a nice swim (only 10 laps, but not as painful as the last time I tried swimming) and physio outdoors in the local swimming pool, we drove to the other side of the fjord and I snapped a few photos.
It was late in the day, at 16:23, so the sun was not in the ideal place for photos. 

Maybe I'll try again early on a sunny morning one day later in the autumn. Might get some more autumn colours too. 

The snow has made it's appearance up in the mountains...the weather forecast said we might see some snow here tomorrow. Tourists and those driving on Icelandic mountain roads have already been in trouble today.
