Unusual threesome

Still catching up!

Another slow wander this afternoon .... we have been lucky with the sunny weather!

I was chuffed to get a photo of a pair of Shoveler ducks ..... unfortunately not in full breeding plumage but looking good anyway :-)

A Coot also swam into the shot .... hence the threesome!

The drake (male) Shoveler was far too busy eating to raise his head but hey ho! First time I've managed to get a photo of these.
