On the wire

Still feeling fine.  Managed two dog walks and felt fine afterwards, in fact the hound was flagging instead.  Still keeping my distance from others just in case.  I'm glad I CAN walk the dog.  Being cooped up doesn't suit me.

Made a leek, onion and cheese eggah/frittata for tonight's and tomorrow's dinner.

Dreadful news of Israel's aggression towards Lebanon.  Yet again innocent children and adults suffer.  Why won't the USA stop providing weapons etc?!  

When I lived in Cyprus in the 1960s we were evacuated to the safe haven of Beirut, Lebanon when troubles broke out.  My childhood memories are of a wonderful cosmopolitan place.

My neighbour who had a stroke and is in hospital having physiotherapy in the stroke unit messaged that covid has broken out there.  Consequently they are experiencing a mini-lockdown.  Her partner who visited contracted covid and had to isolate.

Be careful, covid is on the rise again.
