Cumbria Here I Come

By marpaul

A beautiful morning with plenty of sunshine for our walk to Port Carlisle.  Its always a pleasure to stand for a while and observe all the waders in the estuary and there's certainly plenty of them.  Not so easy to get decent shot of them though as they are so tiny.  So have settled on the Egrets and Heron for my blip.  I'm glad I blipped the swans the other day as today there was just the one left.  Always sad to see a lone one.  Popped into Carlisle later on for a very much needed haircut.  I always let my hair get too long.  Feels so much better now.  Did a little gardening afterwards and did a short walk with Misty before the rain arrived.
