Checking the Bees

Directly across from the MD residence, this guy has placed a couple of beehives (about 4 months ago). The number of honey bees foraging in our garden certainly seems to have increased - hopefully due to the hives.

The hives are quite some way away (thankfully) - this blip was taken with a 300m telephoto lens and then heavily cropped to show what he was doing. All this has affected the quality somewhat, but I thought it was an interesting blip :-)
