Wide Wednesday - Sharp
I was quite puzzled how I could possibly get a wide angle landscape shot which would also give focus to the subject of this week's challenge - sharpness. I went out his afternoon looking for inspiration and took various shots of briar patches and thorn bushes but then found myself focusing to take close-up of the spiky thorns. In the spirit of the challenge I took these macro shots with a wide angle lens so I had to get up really close to the spikes. I them wondered how I could combine the shots but eventually came up with the idea of a spiky frame. So my picture is of a landscape in John Muir Country Park which has as its central focus a extensive patch of briars including the odd rosehip and decaying rose head that they are much to small to see.and I have used my macro shots to give the image some bite.
