Airbus A319-111

   Waiting to take off for Amsterdam, once a British Airways flight from London had landed and cleared the runway.

   I was over at the airport tonight on a recce. A few years ago I photographed some aircraft taking off long after sunset and combined the images in an app. This gave me an image of light trails (from the aircraft) bending up into a dark sky but a reasonably well lit runway. The pedestrian bridge at Newbridge was excellent location but since I was last there trees have grown quite a bit and block the view of the runway. At the other end of the airport is farmland and a main railway line to Edinburgh. Probably not the best of places to be at night.
