2024 Wednesday—Travel Day

We departed the lavender house at approximately 6:15 this morning. Our destination was south to our house in SoCal. This photo was captured as we motored through the city of Glendale at about 10:15. The next few days we have routine medical appointments. Getting to see the grandkids is also on the agenda.

In a few days it will be one year ago that Mr. Fun went to ER for one IV of Lasix; his doctor had explained that it would require several hours in ER. Eight full days later he was released from the hospital. He had lost a significant amount of weight due to the continued Lasix that was administered. He gained two new doctors: a nephrologist and a cardiologist. Several new prescriptions were assigned; and a mandate to not consume more than 650 mg of sodium at each meal.

So arriving at this medical moment feels something like a victory.
