Happy talk

Britt and Bengt picked me up at 12.45 to go to Blue Lagoon complex in Fevzipasa for a group neighbour friends alfresco lunch by the pool.  Thirteen of us all together enjoyed a lovely lunch in good company.  Rufus also had a wonderful time, including a walk in the lane - when I lived here, his favourite place to walk - well run and run off lead - Blipped many times. Leonie/Tavşan came too. Other garden cats came to join us at lunch, including Jessica - one of Rufus' best mates and Simon who has put on quite a lot of weight, so I'm glad that they're still being fed by someone, now that I'm no longer there.  

Satiated and content, we said our goodbyes around 3pm and I went to see Nick and Jackie, who as yesterday, asked me to help them (which I love to do) with some business stuff for which we drove back in to Akbuk.  A very typical 'Burasi Turkey' (This is Turkey) time later, (eg: much repetition in both languages with more people joining in to 'help' at an ever increasing volume just incase you didn't understand the first seventeen times) and with business finally completed, Jackie, Nick and I (+woofer) went to Pasa for a celebratory glass of wine before they headed home, while Rufus and I enjoyed a stroll along the sea front followed by a quiet evening at the villa in recovery mode after so much Turkish talking.
