THE DRESSES

Out to lunch today with the little girls, MrD’s sister and hubbie and the remaining family. Very enjoyable.
Before leaving for lunch we put the dresses onto the little girls that I have been sewing. I was tickled pink with the result.
The back is the pretty side and, if you’re interested, you are able to see the detail.
Anyhow MrD’s sister was thrilled with them.

The reason they are special is that the fabric is seventy years old and being remnants from MrD’s mum’s bridesmaid dress to her twin sister. I will add their photo in extras.

We’ve had fabulous weather and the little girls have had a couple of swims today.
