Soggy

MrM had arranged to start work an hour later than usual today, in anticipation of the long drive last night. So it was a slow, late start this morning, and I took a while to get going. Not the sort of day to even contemplate gardening,  so I spent most of it pottering indoors, and catching up with household chores.  

Walked as far as the local shop this afternoon for some essentials. No crunching through crisp autumn leaves on the way, they were far too damp and soggy for that!
