The last two days of walking have been at a faster pace than I usually go. What I needed today was a slow, level plod.

Bowness was perfect though I was lucky to find a parking space. So busy considering it’s a Monday in late September. There were 8 coaches in the coach parking area.

After a wander around the lakeshore and photos ( just phone snaps again) I drove up to Windermere for some groceries then spent the rest of the afternoon on the sofa.
