Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

I went for my first ever mammogram today.

I had a very professional and lovely radiographer who explained it all and after manoeuvring myself into various positions, it was over and done fairly quickly.

“That was a lot less uncomfortable than I’d been told,” I happily reported.

“Yeah, it’s different for everyone,” she explained. “Some people find it painful as soon as the paddles come down or it can depend on the density of the breast tissue.”

I laughed, “After feeding 2 small humans, density really isn’t an issue. I could pretty much just unroll them onto the paddle!”

Her professional demeanour slipped into the giggles, “It’s exactly the same here!”

Job done!
