Whilst this appears to be very effective at trapping hairs to stop them going down the drain, it appears to do so by trapping all the outflowing fragments of soap and grease and glagging up the hairs on their way past. As the owner of the household's shortest haircut, it naturally falls to me to be the only person who can face/be bothered to occasionally clean the trap to stop the very shallow shower tray overflowing.
