Cutting the Crop

I must be naïve in the extreme.  Having combined with CMC yesterday to open our online bank account I find an email first thing this morning to indicate there are another six forms to complete.  Still, the good news is that at least I got all the grass cut yesterday.  So I walked up to the Kirk café to get an Orcadian; had a good chat with Geordie.  A variety of messages arrived from Karen indicating she had just successfully completed her Irish tour.  Next week she’ll be playing in Orkney with a host of Norwegian / Finnish and Orcadian musicians.  CMC will arrive home soon so I must go and make sure I have her pipe and slippers ready for her.  I understand the Primrose League is in the midst of an attempted comeback.  It’s hardly safe to leave the house.
