Waterfall
We have had quite a bit of rain today but that did not stop us going for a shorter walk to one of the local waterfalls, just enough exercise in terms of distance and ascent after the rigours of yesterday’s walk. Afterwards, we did a little shopping for items to take back to France which are better bought in Spain or Andorra. The car park machine would not accept cash and I am finding that this becoming more common. Payment of small amounts abroad on a card can be problematic when banks charge transaction fees. I thought I might use Apple Pay but that required data on my phone which would trigger a hefty minimum daily charge. I am against the idea that we don’t need cash anymore. It is particularly important as having visible and finite amounts of cash also helps with budgeting. I caught up with some emails in the afternoon and prepared for our departure tomorrow.
