It's a Hockney, don't you know...

I've had the most fabulous day!

As mentioned yesterday, I've been up to West Yorkshire to see Ian Beesley at Salts Mill (what an amazing place!) and Peter Mitchell at Leeds Art Gallery. The latter was the main draw but, I have to say it left me feeling ambivalent about the photos, however the former was truly magnificent in every single respect. Loved the contact sheets and selected images - a true way to see into the process.

I also went to the Café Royal Books exhibition at Impressions Gallery in Bradford. To see them all in one room was ace! 

Oh, and why the Hockney in B+W, why not! This way you'll have to go and see it for yourself. It's worth it, trust me.
