Bramble’s day

Up early for a walk in the “little” park before the arrival of our small dog loving granddaughter and then confined to the kitchen while we had breakfast. Bramble can watch us through the safety gate but has to wait until we have finished before she can come in and clean the floor.
Shortly, back on the lead again to observe cycle tots in the “big”park followed by a picnic to which she wasn’t invited .
Time out in the boot while we drive round in large circles to get Freya to have a nap . Freya was chatty and in the end I succumbed to telling a lengthy story ( about a fox as requested ) in a slow hypnotic voice. The fox was after a little red hen to eat for supper and on and on it went, thankfully Freya fell asleep just as I was running out of ideas .
Bramble was then taken to J and C and swapped for Arthur who came back to ours for tea . Every toy and every book has been out , tracks built , stories told and now here Bramble lies , back home and relaxing after her busy day. We will shortly be curling up In our baskets , hopefully with a glass of wine too ‘l!
