When in a hole stop digging…

Maidstone Borough Council has commissioned some work to be done around this pond and stream, both of which have made regular appearances on blip. I’d rather be in the digger thank you very much.

Trees have been felled and vegetation removed in the cause of environmental management (so says the notice). We will see how it looks in 12 months time. It is certainly very different and more open than the last time we walked this way.

A day of heavy showers which caught us on our walk this morning. More in the way of sunshine mixed in with showers this afternoon.
