Trying to hold off on firing up the heating.

My day had as many ups and downs as the equinoctial weather.

The money from our one year invested house sale funds matured at midnight but a few hours later, and only after answering many anti fraud questions, headed off to a bank account in Glasgow from whence it will pay for our new house; our tax bill and our solicitor. Easy come easy go…it doesn’t feel real moving around these huge numbers.

Then I talked to electricians, airports, hotels and car hire desks and rearranged a thousand things…and in between did at least some work.

Tomorrow we have the day off and were supposed to be sailing on the Waverley to London. Sadly it has been cancelled at the last moment due to a technical problem.
