Apples and Oranges

By Anitsirk

We were supposed to have rain all day, but that changed and the rain came now in the evening.
Busy day... First tending to the flowers from yesterday. Changed water and rearranged a bouquet I've placed by the cash machine. Then I went out to pick some new flowers, for bouquets and those to sell one by one. Bound the bouquets and two were gone before I ended my day. That's always nice! :)
I replanted cuttings, took some new cuttings, cut down some plants (without taking more cuttings) and went through apples that'd fallen on the ground. We sell those for a cheeper price, but they need to be ok anyway.
Then I had two customers asking me about a plant. I had no idea what kind of plant it was. I thought it was an outdoor plant, but when I asked a coworker, she said it was an indoor plant. The customer bought it anyway. While she was still growing the greenhouses with her friend, I managed to stick my hands in soil without realising I had a cut on my finger. Needed to rinse that from soil and was doing so when the customers rang our small bell on the counter. My coworker went to get me a plaster as protection while I took care of the customers.
Then I had another customer asking about the same plant, and as the bosses were away on something and the boss that weren't with them was on his lunch, I couldn't ask anyone about this plant. When he came back I asked and was told it was a sweet potato plant! Well, now I now and I had a laugh about it.
