Castors

I phoned the doctors surgery at 2 minutes to 8 this morning ..... the introductory blurb lasts  for 2 minutes. Or so I thought.
It is actually 1 minute and 50 seconds.
I was 5th in the queue ... then I was 4th ....then I was 5th....... WHAT? ...then I was 4th..........
Glitch over and when I spoke to the receptionist there was an appointment at 3pm - Not sure how with 12 doctors in the practice 5th in the queue ends up with the 5th person calling gets the next available appointment 7 hours later ...... but -- That will do thanks.

H turned up this morning with a bunch of flowers (to go with the bunch that arrived yesterday thanks to The Wicked Witch - who lives in Spain).

3pm came and went. 
At 3.20pm we were called in, had 5 minutes chat, were told there would be a call back in 3 months and left.

From there we went up the Grumpy Towers for a long overdue cuppa and catch up with Mr & Mrs Mac ..... and Castors who we hadn't seen for ages. They will be heading north and joining up with 3 other mutual friends for their annual September photographic break.
At that point I hadn't taken any pictures ... so Castors it had to be for my Blip - which she was happy with (that came as a surprise).

I could have used one of the surprise sunset shots I grabbed whilst making the evening meal - or one of the bulb that blue when I went out to put stuff in the compost. 3 of each are Here.
I am not sure how I am going to get the metal top of the bulb out of its housing ..... I hope it isn't going to require a new light unit.
