Groovy Dancers

We left the house just after 8am, stopped for a late breakfast near Crawley and arrived in Cardiff at 12.30 so it wasn’t a bad journey. We were a bit shocked to find that the house needed a really good clean as the cleaners had allegedly been in twice. I put my rubber gloves on and scrubbed the doors, skirting boards and shelves in Pops’ room which were dusty and stained. Not what you’d expect when the girls are paying £2,500 a month to live here.
After picking up her food shopping and some extra bits from Tesco, Poppy and I had a wander round the town and left D making up a flat packed bedside table. There were lots of student themed events going on in town including these slightly scary silver-clad dancers in the main shopping arcade.

This evening we ate at a very good Italian. We’ve had torrential rain and got soaked making our way to get Poppy and Uber then walking back to our hotel.
