House Captain!

We were invited to an assembly at school today where the kids found out who had been voted as their new house captains, vice house captains and head boy and girl.

The head boy and girl were voted for by the teachers (from those who chose to go for it) - and I thought were excellent choices - could have predicted them when they were in year 1!

The house captains had done speeches to their houses and then their houses had voted them in. Having been invited we knew he had got something but was particularly nice to see Allegra turn around (we were sat at the back) with a massive grin on her face looking for him when she realised he’d got house captain - I think she may have lobbied him some votes among her friends (they’re in the same house). Although she said he did have the best speech… not that she would be biased at all…
