Haven't touched this project in a bit, will try to do more before year end.

Searched for some apple pie filling recipes, I don't want the pastry bit, just the apple bit.  I want to see how well they might do in a store-bought empty pie shell.  I am not a baking person, and when I used to be it was quiche or a tarte au citron and that was the extent.  I still do fruit crumbles but that's not baking baking, if you know what I mean.  I also pulled some recipes from the pie shell maker’s website and will see how they are, there's one for a crumble pie which looks pretty good to me!
