My first one

I do love my cross stitch but have always wanted to have a go at embroidery. For my first attempt I went super easy and bought a kit which has several projects in. This pattern only used 5 types of stitches so I was just about able to manage that. I'm pretty pleased with the result.
Some of the girls in my stitching group gave me some ideas to make it into a wall hanging so I will get my thinking cap on!

My new carpet is being fitted as I type so I am sat in my 'craft room' surrounded by most of the contents of the sitting room. It's amazing how much stuff you have when you have to move it all!
