Flower Friday 27_2024 :: FF27_2024 :: Autumn Joy

I didn't plant this one so I'm guessing it is Sedum Herbstfreude 'Autumn Joy'. It grows quite big and it is their habit for the heavy flower heads to collapse exposing the storks and centre. I tend to leave the flower heads on over the winter as a skeletal display until the new shots are well established in the Spring.


My Blip is another experimental mix of an 8 image AvgCamPro shot and a couple of straight shots to give focal interest. This sort of image is more about the colours and form than detail but I know we all need a little point of interest to let our eyes rest a while whilst looking at images.
