Tough day

This photo was taken by our son today with his dog “Spark-Pug”. I posted it because I didn’t get a chance to take my own photo.
Today we decided not to take the trip across country to attend my 55th high school reunion because of Hurricane Helene back east and the disruption it will cause to travel with the wind, rain, and flooding damage.
I am disappointed. What I have recognized though is that I have enjoyed the memories from my life, my friends, and my home of that time with just thinking about going.
It is enough.
