Wine tasting

Busy day - started with a run down the road.
Then MrKT, Ivan and I drove into Berat - ancient town and world heritage centre. Quite a change from other places we’ve visited - a major tourist attraction but not too busy today. We roamed the streets of ottoman houses and the hill top castle. Then into the ‘modern’ town - wide boulevard streets, big (derelict) buildings which we thought might be communist era relics, and lots of restaurants . The big domed building we thought was a cathedral was of course a hotel.
Returning to our campsite we then popped next door to the vineyard for a wine tasting. We spent a lovely couple of hours with a brief tour of the winery and then tasting a couple of whites and 3 reds and a raki. We didn’t buy anything - Albanian wine seems to be quite expensive.
