A Grand Old Oak

Undisturbed woodland has a magical quality. I walked through this wood today in a sheltered valley in West Devon. There were a variety of trees in the woods, but the magnificent, ancient oaks really stopped me in my tracks with their grand presence. This was one of the most spectacular and perhaps my favourite of the walk.
