My First Tattoo

Well i finally did it, at the age of 72 i got my first tattoo.....Morgan, Bronwyn and I have been planning this experience for a couple of months.   We booked the day off and headed up to Sydney.....they designed the tattoo, which is a triangle, to symbolize the 3 of us, and a daisy, my birth flower apparently, and 2 chrysanthemums, their birth flower.

It was very cool being in a tattoo parlour.....and the folks there were super nice and really fun!   Bronwyn went first and then it was my turn!   I was a bit nervous but once Keats, our artist, began i relaxed, it wasn't too painful at all.  there were a couple of moments when i winced a bit, but overall it was just fine.   Having them laughing and chatting of course helped take my mind off what i was actually doing. 

we returned home and everyone was of course very surprised when we revealed our tattoos.   Terry was a bit stunned and kept saying .... is it real???  too funny!

Our last dinner together, so bittersweet....needing to get my life back to our way here, very quiet and not much going on....but they have to leave and i will miss them very much !
