Time stands still

The mechanism of the Grandfather clock has been taken away for servicing, and it was interesting to see how it was removed from the clock case.
A fairly miserable day with  a strong and cold North westerly wind, although mainly dry, cloudy at times. A day for admin and other indoor tasks.
