Medusa's Head

This is a rather elaborate acorn from the magnificent Turkey Oak in our local park. It struck me that the cup was similar to the barbs on my Blip from yesterday.
In close up, I think the acorn looks like Medusa's head!  Maybe I should have drawn a face on the acorn?
